Stillness in Motion – A solo painting exhibition by Gwen Morrison

The City of Ocala Cultural Arts Division invites you to experience “Stillness in Motion”, a solo exhibition by contemporary artist and writer Gwen Morrison. Originally from Canada and now residing in Florida, Morrison explores the balance between intention and surrender through watercolor, ink, and mixed media. Her work embraces the unpredictable movement of pigments, creating organic forms and calming compositions that invite viewers to slow down, reflect, and be present in the moment. Visit the exhibition at Ocala City Hall (110 SE Watula Ave.), on view through December 3, 2026, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Explore more of Gwen Morrison’s work: Instagram: @gwen.morrison and Facebook: Gwen Morrison Art
