T.M. Burris
- Painting
Welcome to Original Florida Art by T.M. Burris, creator of the Floridiana Hum-Dinky™. Mrs. B was born and raised in Central Florida and lives in a small cabin in Silver Springs, Florida, on the edge of the Ocala National Forest with her husband (who is also an artist in his own right). She takes her DSLR with her when she goes flat boating or hiking, and when taking road trips to capture memorable Florida moments for painting inspiration.
She’s had a creative streak as far back as she can remember, whether it be painting, sewing, or music, but decided to go all in during her 40s by making a humble living as an artist. She also returned to school at 53 to achieve her BFA in Graphic Design, allowing her to have one foot in traditional art and one foot in the digital world, although her true love will always be the art of traditional, tangible painting.
Her latest passion is the Floridiana Hum-Dinky™, 4″ x 4″ travel size paintings of Old Florida themes. You can follow along at https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61590530230197 and humdinky.com which will be a work in progress for the next couple of weeks.
Her and Captain Jeff also do murals through The Silver Bristled Muralists. Site for this coming soon!
She gives thanks to God in the name of Jesus Christ for all that she has and for all that she does not have. Thank you for stopping by, and have a great day!
